What a change…! The sad old faded dilapidated Dunmore Community Hut has got a new lease of life. Spruced up and smart, it’s been given a total makeover. Around 35 local people (including 5 very welcome volunteers from Lloyds TSB) put in time, either to paint or to clean or – like the Bengali women’s group – to turn up with food to give new heart to the workers.

Inside and out, walls and floors, drains and gutters, playground and toilets. Glossy dark green paint on the outside where it had been a sad faded red.

Come and see it on June 3rd when we celebrate ‘Something to Celebrate!

THANKS TO ALL WHO PAINTED, CLEANED, COOKED, SUPPORTED:  Mahmuda Jaigirdar, Lisa Jones, Katrina Blannin, Pete Locker, Ray Okunobi, Steve Lajollie, Lutfa Miah, Naseem Khan, Eirene Chen, Rohima Khatun, Majeeda Begum, Cynthia Charles, Julie Mahoney, Sarah Green, Pete Wilson,  Surjit Bansal (Lloyds), Adele Dewison (Lloyds), Ben Davies (Lloyds), Tracey White (Lloyds), Kevin Cuthbert, Helena, Asma Ahmed, Shopna Khan, Jane Deacon, Mahmuda Begum, Jean Locker, Afia Begum, Ben Cook, Beryl Rhoden, Monia Begum, Andreas Moellmann, Moriam Begum.
